Synopsis: Today, our worship crew leads us in front of the beautiful backdrop of Rheems, we have a Children's Ministry Minute with Alicea Carpenter and Pastor Nick introduces the "Missionary Moment" which gives us a picture of the missionary work going on overseas that our church supports. Our debt reduction campaign has only $22.42 left until we are a DEBT FREE church! May we celebrate with joy and thanksgiving. Pastor Nick teaches us from Jonah 2 & 3 today. We'll learn about the Assyrians, that our greatest trouble may actually be God's work to draw us near, we'll talk about half-hearted obedience and the bigness of God as he prepares people to hear his word.

Synopsis: Today is the first Sunday of Advent and the last Sunday of our Jonah series. In both places we have a message of hope. We'll begin by lighting the advent candle of hope and a reading from Psalm 130:7. We'll enter into worship with our first week beginning to focus on the Christmas season. Today our Missionary Moment is of John & Esther Spurrier and their service at Macha Mission. And then Pastor Nick will guide us through the final chapter of the book of Jonah and we'll engage some subjects like hard heartedness, forgiveness and enemy love.
