Serve At Conoy

Here are current and upcoming service opportunities at Conoy BIC Church. We can always use your help with events and it is a great way to jump in and build relationships with others who are also serving. We believe that serving others is an important part of what it means to follow Jesus.

Parking Lot Greeter

You could be the first smiling face that someone see’s when they enter our parking lot. With a smile, wave and helpful directions (if needed) you could make someone’s first time at church so much easier and more comfortable. If you have a smiling face and a warm disposition (and you don’t mind standing outside) - we need you!

USHER

It can be one of the most important jobs - helping a person find a seat especially when they’re new and unfamiliar with a church. You have the opportunity to make persons and families feel comfortable, cared for and loved by helping us greet, hand our bulletins, show people to their seat and take offering.

Greeter

Just inside our door, we have people positioned to say hello, shake hands and direct you to coffee, children’s church or the sanctuary. Some of our best greeters have been doin this for decades and we need to pass this legacy on! We need as many people who are willing to help folks find their way as possible.

TRUSTEE (FAcility management)

Conoy may not be the biggest facility but we could certainly use help in taking care of it! Trustee’s advice our church board on the best approach to be great stewards of our property and help us do different odd jobs that keep our building in good working order. It is helpful to have some hands on experience with maintenance.
