Synopsis: We begin our Advent series called "From Birth to Rebirth" as we look through themes of Faith, Hope, Love and Joy and see how Jesus' birth changes our understanding of all these things both in Biblical times and modern. Today we begin with 'Faith' and look specifically at Gideon and Peter and push ourselves to ask the question: do we have anything in our lives that prevents us from having faith?

Hope

Synopsis: Today we look into 'Hope' with some history of the silent years between the Old Testament and the New Testament about the Maccabees and then the arrival of Jesus and some of the other people who proclaimed to be messiah.

Love

Synopsis: This morning we dive into the theme of LOVE with Pastor of Congregational Care - Jeff Moore. Jeff helps us take a look at the command of love, how its new (and how it isn't) and how this command of of Jesus leads us into a rebirth!

Joy

Synopsis: This morning we hold our candlelight service, instead of Christmas Eve, and look at JOY. God, through Jesus, entered into darkness - our darkness - rather than be set apart and understanding this brings us JOY which changes both our viewpoint and our circumstances.
