This series will help us to explore (1) the way of Jesus by digging into the sermon on the mount and (2) learning about the life of someone who lived with open hands and trusted God with the many, many things that were far outside of his control. Together we can grow in our relationship with Jesus and in the way we interact with the people in our lives that we love.

TThis morning we venture into a new series called "Detours and the Way of Jesus" where we look at the life of a man named Joseph, from the book of Genesis, and some of Jesus' teaching in the Sermon on the Mount. Sometimes it feels like following God is full of pits and detours - but what if all of that contributes to the path and plan that God has us on?
